DDM Wins Gold At SA Web Awards

DDM has picked up three awards at South Africa’s prestigious Bookmarks awards for 2010. The Bookmarks are held each year by The Digital Media and Marketing Association to acknowledge publishers, agencies and individuals that have excelled in the online space.

This year, DDM underlined its position as a major player in the online and mobile space with awards for the Big Brother Africa All Stars website,  and  Big Brother Africa was awarded a rare gold in the publisher category. won a silver for best mobile publisher (the highest award handed out for mobile); while was acknowledged with a bronze in the category Mixed Media Project.

With more than 400 entries and only six golds awarded across more than 30 categories, the standards were very high, meaning silver or bronze winners were often adjudged “best in class”.

John Kotsaftis, CEO of DDM, said he was delighted that the company was “recognized for innovation and excellence at an exciting time for the online and mobile markets.
